Tree felling (small) Cs31

A course aimed to teach users who already hold unit Cs30 the requsit knowledge & skill to fell trees of a diameter between 8" 15" primarily for commercial use.

We cover aspects such as the egal implications and restrictions that are present covering tree felling, the pre curser to work includes site preparation, risk assessment & measures to control the hazard from the work operation.

During the course we look at 3 initial techniques to fell a small tree,. a standard cut to those employed to fell trees that have either a slight lean for or against the intended fall direction.

Knowledge & practical application to deal with a tree that becomes entangled with others during the felling procedure 'Hung up' hand tool extraction to dislodge the tree.

The safe removal of the branch structure & crosscutting of the stem with guidance on techniques to reduce Kickback during saw operations
